AN EXPERIMENT METHOD FOR VERIFYING THE STRUCTURAL STRENGTH SIMULATION OF FIREARM PARTS BASED ON OPTICAL MEASUREMENT
Abstract
In order to explore the simulation test verification method for firearm parts structural strength, this paper take the locking strength of the certain firearm parts—the head stock body as the research object, adopts the optical measurement method, design the test scheme. At the same time, based on finite element simulation software, establishes the corresponding strength simulation model of the firearm part, and verifies the simulation calculation results based on the test results. Through the tests, the bolt head under the static pressure of 300 MPa, produces a strain of -3100μεto-3700με, and the simulation result at the same position is-3200με. The simulation calculation results are within the range of the test results. Through simulation, the accuracy of the simulation test results is verified. The research results show that the optical measurement method can overcome the influence of the size of the test piece and accurately measure the strain of the part. At the same time, the results of this study also provide a test method for the verification of the structural strength simulation results of firearm parts.
